Doctor Ear, Nose & Throat (ENT)
Dr. Katherine Day, originally from West Virginia, graduated with high honors from Princeton University and with highest honors from Yale University School of Medicine. She completed her residency in otolaryngology at the University of Maryland, where she managed to include prize-winning research with a busy clinical schedule. Dr. Day is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology.

Dr. Lawson holds an honors degree in electrical engineering from Duke University and attended medical school at Washington University in St. Louis, where she was awarded a prestigious scholarship and was accepted to the residency program in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery. She then completed a fellowship in otology at the Minnesota Ear Institute with Dr. Michael Paparella, receiving advanced training in ear surgery.
In addition to her special expertise at ear surgery, Dr. Lawson is an expert practitioner of the broad range of general ear, nose, and throat medicine and surgery. Dr. Lawson holds privileges at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center, Franklin Square Medical Center, Greater Baltimore Medical Center, and St. Joseph Medical Center.

Dr. Rodrigues received his Bachelor of Science degree from Pennsylvania State University and his medical degree, with honors, from University of Maryland School of Medicine. He completed his chief residency in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery at the University of Maryland School of Medicine.
Dr. Rodrigues has made numerous professional presentations and has published articles with the Maryland Otolaryngology Society. He serves as an instructor in several University of Maryland courses and volunteers in a number of public health services in Baltimore City.
Audiologist
Dr. Christine Cloonan has had the pleasure of caring for her patients at The Centers For Advanced ENT Care, LLC North Bay ENT and Audiology Division since 2007. Prior to relocating to Maryland, she practiced audiology for a large ENT practice in Buffalo, NY. While there, she also served as a consultant to the VA medical system, served as a clinical supervisor for audiology graduate students, and was an adjunct clinical professor at University of Buffalo.
Audiologist
Dr. Susan Domzalski was raised in Pennsylvania and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in communication disorders from the Pennsylvania State University, State College, PA, in 1991. She earned her Master of Science degree in audiology from Towson University, Towson, MD, in 1993. In 1993 she completed her internship in an ENT office in Christina, DE. Later, in 2006, she received her doctorate degree in audiology from A.T. Still University in Mesa, AZ.
Dr. Domzalski started her career working for an ENT practice at Greater Baltimore Medical Center in Towson, MD, where she worked for eight years. She has been with The Centers For Advanced ENT Care, LLC North Bay ENT and Audiology Division since June 2000. In June of 2000, Dr. Domzalski developed the newborn hearing screening program for Upper Chesapeake Medical Center and ran the program for many years. She specializes in diagnostic and balance testing for newborns to geriatric to include audiograms, OAE, ABR, and VNGs. She is an expert in selecting and fitting hearing aids to a variety of different age groups. Dr. Domzalski has participated in humanitarian efforts to fit hearing aids to underprivileged children in Argentina.
Audiologist
Emily K. Waugh, Au.D., is a clinical audiologist at the Franklin Square office of North Bay ENT & Audiology. She is a graduate of the Doctor of Audiology program at Towson University. Her career goal is to provide innovative solutions for individuals with hearing loss using the latest amplification technology. Dr. Waugh specializes in working with geriatric patients and patients with special needs and enjoys educating the public about hearing health.
Audiologist
Dr. Amber B. Palermo is a clinical audiologist licensed in the state of Maryland and certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. She earned her doctoral degree from Towson University in May 2020. Her research was dedicated to the assessment of auditory processing abilities in neurotypical older adults. She gained valuable clinical experience at the Krieger Institute, Nemours Children’s Hospital and the Cochlear Implant Center at GBMC.
Dr. Palermo is passionate about improving quality of life for her patients and aims to provide customized hearing care solutions. Her areas of expertise include fitting of hearing aids and implantable devices, tinnitus management, and diagnostic evaluation for hearing and balance disorders for patients of all ages.
Nurse Practitioner
Ashley Fine has been in the healthcare field for 11 years. She received both her Bachelor’s Degree and Master of Science in Nursing from Johns Hopkins University. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau, an international honors nursing society, and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
After doing a residency program at a primary care clinic in Connecticut, she started with North Bay ENT and Audiology LLC in 2015. She also has experience precepting Nurse Practitioner students. For patients whom English is not their first language she also speaks French and Spanish.

Sheila Waller received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from the University of Maryland in Baltimore City and her Masters of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Chamberlain University in Chicago, Illinois. She has a history of involvement in quality improvement projects and prides herself on her ability to identity problems and use evidence base; processes to improve and solve those problems. Special recognition includes Induction into the Phi Theta Kappa Honors Society, Franklin Square Hospital Innovation Award Nominee and The Daisey Award. She holds a membership with the American Nursing Association and is Credentialed by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
Physician Assistant
David Ericson has been serving in the healthcare field for 40 years. He served as an Air Force medical service technician and as a paramedic/paramedic instructor. He worked at Vanderbilt University Medical Center as a critical care nurse while attending physician assistant school. He graduated from the Trevecca Nazarene University Physician Assistant program in 1994. He received the Director’s Award for leadership. Serving as a National Service Health Corps Scholar, he opened a homeless clinic there as well as seeing patients at the parent community health center. He served as Adjunct Faculty at the University of Nebraska Medical Center Physician Assistant program. He provided primary care services for 6 years.
